Dear LRA Colleagues:

Happy Spring! I am writing to bring you up to date on an important change in LRA communications.  Last week, the Board of Directors approved a plan for LRA headquarters to disseminate a monthly e-newsletter that will be sent to all members and posted to the LRA website.  These monthly updates will allow a more timely sharing of information in comparison with the Spring and Fall newsletters we produced in the past. The new format allows LRA officers, Standing and Award Committees, ICG's and other groups to make announcements when needed.  

We also invite LRA members to submit relevant news they would like to share with the LRA community. We are especially interested in hearing about research publications that are hot off the presses and any grants you received in the previous month. You might also consider sharing with the community any of your engagements with public policy or any field initiatives of interest to LRA.  Think about how we might use this opportunity as a way to know each other better and to use each other as resources for expanding, collectively, the significance and potential impact of our work.

The e-newsletter will be published the first Tuesday of every month, with submissions due on the 15th of the previous month.  For our first newsletter, which will be published on June 5, all items must be received by May 15.  If you have questions about submitting, please contact [email protected].
