Annual Meeting participants acknowledge that the Literacy Research Association (“LRA”) may use their likeness, voice and words in television, radio, newspaper, magazine and other promotional or media advertisements to advertise or communicate the purposes and activities of the LRA’s programs and activities and in appealing for funds to support such programs and activities.

What's being done regarding safety protocols?

LRA is focused on bringing the literacy research field safely back together, in-person, in 2021. Our top priority remains the health and safety of all those on-site at the event. In addition to following the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines and all federal, state and local mandates, the LRA team has worked with the Westin Peachtree Plaza to establish protocols that will provide a safe environment including: multiple sanitizing stations and face mask stations on every floor, frequent electrostatic spraying of common areas (such as elevators, escalators, and restrooms) throughout the day, PPE worn by all hotel associates, and mobile hotel check-in and check-out. What if I can't attend in-person?

Although it is our hope that everyone can attend in-person, we understand that some in our community won’t be able to. Keep an eye on your inbox for more information about what LRA has planned for those who can’t participate in-person.

What if I'm a virtual presenter?

Presenters not participating in-person will be sent instructions on how to upload their pre-recorded session in the coming weeks.

What is the refund policy?

Prior to November 17, 2021, an individual may claim an 80% refund for registration. From November 17 – November 28, an individual may claim a 50% refund. Starting November 29, 2021, an individual will not receive any refund. All refunds will be processed after the conference.

NOTE: If you are NOT a member and register at the member rate, you are granting LRA permission to charge the non-member rate to your credit card. All registration deadlines are strictly adhered to and registrations received after the published deadlines will be charged the appropriate rate according to the postmarked or faxed date.
